Shimano 10 speed gears work with the Bosch motor to make light work of any road, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer powerful stopping in any weather conditions. The Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 500's integrated luggage carrier is a great example of how our designers' attention to detail pays off: it's neat, stiff, strong and will carry a variety of loads in complete safety. The powerful Bosch CX motor system and 500Wh battery are mounted low for the best possible handling characteristics, helped along by our proprietary Efficient Comfort Geometry (ECG) for stress-free pedalling, mile after mile. Advanced design features borrowed from our engineering test team's vast experience include oversized, hydroformed tubes for safe handling and efficient power delivery. We even routed cables internally for clean looks and long-lasting, reliable gear shifting.
