The Cross SL is a no-compromise, light, lively and adaptable machine that sets a new benchmark for low weight and premium quality. Pairing only the finest components with a frame designed for speed and comfort, our engineers and designers didn't settle for anything less than the best in their quest to build the ultimate all-rounder. The double-butted aluminium chassis - made with our own premium-quality tubes - is packed full of technical highlights like Smooth Welding for an almost organic look, a tapered head tube for the ultimate in strength, stiffness and steering precision, and sophisticated RILink carrier compatibility. The Sram 1x12 transmission offers an incredibly wide gear range, low weight and unmatched ease of use. Paired with Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes and grippy Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres, it's the best way of staying in control on your adventures. Throw in the RockShox Paragon Gold air-sprung suspension fork for mile-munching comfort, and it's hard to see how we could improve on the Cross SL. It's in a class of one.

When they set out to design the Cross's aluminium frame, our engineers set themselves an ambitious goal: to increase efficiency, stability and riding comfort, all whilst reducing weight. That's why you'll find technologies in the Cross frame that ordinarily belong in much more expensive bikes. Whether it's the Smooth Welding technology we've employed to improve the appearance of frame joints or the sleek, double-butted aluminium tubes and neatly integrated luggage carrier and mudguard mounts, everything is here to improve both function and looks. A tapered head tube improves steering precision, while cables routed inside the down tube help keep your gears shifting smoothly for longer, with minimal maintenance.
