If your junior mountain biker has caught the racing bug, they'll need a bike to make the best of their evolving skills and fitness. The brand new Reaction C:62 Youth is just that bike. Exceptionally light, equipped for speed and built to the same standards as our adult race bikes, it's got everything that budding cross-country racers need... and nothing that they don't. The beautifully crafted carbon frame is complemented by an air sprung Manitou Markhor fork. Combined with the grip and cushioning of the Schwalbe Racing Ray and Racing Ralph tyres on Answer Attack MA rims, it's an awesome setup for devouring cross-country trails at speed. Sram's NX Eagle drivetrain serves up 12 wide-ranging, perfectly-spaced gears for tackling even the toughest of tracks, and we fitted Magura's custom MT4 hydraulic disc brakes for unmatched stopping power, whatever the conditions. All that's needed for a podium finish is a keen young rider with the will to win...

Geometrie
The Reaction C:62 Youth is the culmination of the CUBE design team's years of experience in building both high performance carbon race bikes, and perfectly proportioned aluminium youth bikes. Crafted from our premium C:62 carbon using our Advanced Twin Mold process, it boasts exactly the same features that you'd expect to see on a World Cup athlete's bike. The tapered head tube, huge down tube cross-section, PressFit Boost bottom bracket and X12 Boost rear axle combine to create an incredibly stiff, precise and efficient frame. At the same time, slender seat stays and a narrow 27.2mm seatpost make the most of carbon's inherent vibration damping properties, helping to increase rider comfort. Internal cable routing means your youngster can spend her time riding rather than fiddling with cable maintenance, and we even included routing for an easy dropper post upgrade. Beautiful, light, stiff and strong - just like our adult race bikes, but scaled down to size.
