No braking system is more powerful than a hydraulic disc - and that means our engineers had to put in the overtime to design a frame that's up to the job. The Attain SL Disc's X12 thru-axles, disc-specific carbon fork and carefully designed rear end are all built to handle the specific demands of the Shimano hydraulic disc system. As you'd expect, the mechanically formed down tube - joined using our Smooth Welding process to the tapered head tube and PressFit bottom bracket shell - is supremely stiff and effficient, while slender seat stays and the carbon fork blades maintain the Attain series' reputation for comfort by reducing road vibrations and rider fatigue. Internal cable routing, mudguard mounts and plenty of clearance for 28c tyres add up to a bike that's built to keep riding year round, no matter how wet the roads.
