From the huge range of Shimano's XT gears to the superb power and controllability of the four-piston XT hydraulic discs with oversize 203mm rotors, there's no compromise in tactility or function. Even better, our new Stereo Hybrid 120 chassis enabled our engineers to fine-tune this legendary bike's performance even further. The Modular Battery System completely encloses the Bosch power unit in the gravity cast down tube for sleek looks, protection against the elements and enough room for a bigger battery with even more range than before. Meanwhile Bosch's fourth-generation CX drive unit and Kiox controller transfer power efficiently and quietly to the rear wheel, helped by the rigidity of the Boost 148 rear end. The trunnion mount Fox Float DPS Performance rear shock and Fox 34 Rhythm fork work in perfect harmony, thanks partly to the experience and engineering expertise of our design team and their finely tuned, four-bar suspension system and Agile Comfort Geometry. With a remote dropper post, grippy 2.6in Schwalbe tyres and wide Newmen Evolution handlebar, you'll always be in full control of the situation, wherever you happen to find yourself. When you've got a successful formula, it's very tempting to stick with it. The versatile Stereo Hybrid 120 was widely admired by riders and the cycling press alike, but the launch of Bosch's fourth-generation drive system gave us the opportunity to make a legend even better. Based around our new Modular Battery System, the new frame is even sleeker, more practical and better handling. Hidden behind a push-button battery cover with integrated lock, the Bosch power unit integrates so neatly into the frame that it's hard to believe it's even a hybrid. It's not just about looks, though, because the new design also enabled our engineers to free up enough room for the option of a bigger capacity battery for extended range. It's all wrapped up in our Comfort Geometry - making the most of our refined four-bar suspension design to ensure a plush, confidence-inspiring ride, wherever your curiosity leads you - and backed up by the knowledge that, like all our bikes, it's passed our strict in-house safety testing with flying colours. For added versatility, we also made it easy to add a luggage carrier, mudguards and even a kickstand - so you can set up your bike exactly the way you want - commute, trail or tour.
