How do you build the ultimate mountain-taming e-MTB? Simple. Give the CUBE design team a black sheet of paper and tell them not to compromise. And here's the result: the Stereo Hybrid 140 TM, a Bosch e-bike to redefine your expectations. Power comes from Bosch's CX PowerTube drive system coupled to Shimano's peerless 11 speed XT transmission, for practically seamless shifts and a gear range wide enough to tackle any climb. Braking is handled by Magura's MT7 hydraulic discs with oversized 203mm rotors front and rear. Combined with a 150mm travel Fox 36 Float GRIP fork, Float DPX2 EVOL shock and 2.6in Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyres - Magic Mary at the front and Nobby Nic at the rear, both with Supergravity sidewalls - it's a potent setup to put you in full control of any trail situation you encounter. The Fox dropper post gives you more scope to check out steep lines in perfect control, and we topped the whole lot off with a light, strong and stiff Newmen wheelset and Race Face cockpit components. A great handling e-MTB needs a great design team behind it. The Bosch drive system has its own unique needs, but luckily we've been working with it for years and understand it inside out. That knowledge and experience enabled our engineers to finesse every detail of the Stereo Hybrid 140 TM's elegant chassis, from the tapered head tube to the Boost 148 rear axle. Holding it all together - literally and figuratively - is the oversized one piece, gravity cast down tube. As well as providing the exceptionally rigid backbone that's the foundation of the Stereo Hybrid 140 TM's incredible handling, it also fully encloses the Bosch PowerTube battery to keep it out of harm's way - although you can easily charge it without removing it from the frame. We joined the dots with our acclaimed Agile Ride Geometry, which delivers the ideal combination of stability and agility.
