The mooth-shifting, wide-ranging Shimano 11 speed SLX and XT gear system, combined with the powerful Bosch Active Plus drive unit, makes light work out of even the steepest of hills. The integrated luggage carrier is a strong, stable and elegant way to transport your belongings in complete safety. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes include an upgrade to a four piston front brake, for even better stopping power in all weather conditions. The suspension seatpost, adjustable stem and smooth RockShox Paragon Gold suspension fork ensure that you'll be comfortable on every ride. And a full complement of practical accessories - including mudguards, a chain guard, kickstand and lights - means you don't need to spend a penny more to get the bike that you want. Geometria
The art of great frame design is to build in all the things you need - safety, comfort, rigidity - while still making it look good. For the Town Sport Hybrid EXC our design team began by optimising the battery position for safe handling and easy access. A gravity cast motor housing provides the strength and stiffness needed for the Bosch motor to transfer its power to the rear wheel, while the newly refined integrated luggage carrier is neater and stiffer than the bolt-on alternative. As you'd expect, the frame passes our stringent in-house testing procedures, so you can be assured of its safety for years to come. We routed cables internally to keep gears shifting smoother, for longer. And our Smooth Welding process gives the impression that each tube flows into the next, for a beautifully organic appearance that you'll love.
