Higher, further, faster, more - the SL Road SL could have been built for Strave KOM-chasers or, indeed, anyone who enjoys chasing speed and distance. A featherweight, minimalist speed package combining Shimano's superb Ultegra groupset, powerful hydraulic disc brakes and DT-Swiss wheels, it's crying out to be ridden hard and is, in the right hands, nearly as quick as a real race bike.There's everything you need here for speed but, of course, we've kept an eye on comfort and safety too.

Geometrie
The SL Road SL's aluminium frame has to fulfil three main criteria: it needs to be light, it needs to be stiff, and it needs to look good, too. You could call it a masterpiece... and we wouldn't disagree. Double butted tubes and a very accurate-steering and lightweight aluminium fork with carbon blades all contribute to keeping the weight down and the ride quality lively and precise. Cables are all routed internally to preserve the frame's good looks and the gears' shifting accuracy, and we've even remembered to include fixing points for accessories like mudguards and luggage carriers.
