Our range-topping full-suspension bike just took another huge leap forward. Building on the success of its illustrious forbears, we completely reworked the frame for 2018 and fully integrated the Bosch drive unit along with the brand-new Bosch PowerTube battery. The Stereo Hybrid 120 HPC Race is now lighter, stiffer, more comfortable and better handling than ever thanks to our tried-and-tested Twin Mold manufacturing technology. No climb is too steep, no descent too tricky. The Stereo Hybrid 120 HPC Race comes equipped with powerful Magura MT Trail Custom hydraulic disc brakes and smooth, precise Shimano XT 11-speed transmission. And to make sure you're in full control at all times – with enough comfort for extended days in the saddle – we specced a Fox 34 Rhythm fork at the front and matching shock at the rear.

As tricky as it is to improve on something that's already so good, our engineers set out to better every aspect of the Stereo Hybrid 120 HPC Race's frame. The one-piece carbon down tube houses the Bosch battery and drive unit making them all but invisible in an elegant enclosure that's stiff, light and protects the electrical system from the elements, while bash plate protects the motor from trail debris and impact. You can even charge the battery without removing it from the frame. Revised geometry includes a more progressive shock rate, higher bottom bracket and longer head tube for better stability, greater comfort and a nimbleness that will surprise you. Stealth dropper post-ready cable routing is standard, as are a stiffness-enhancing Boost rear end and maintenance-reducing internal cable routing. With a lower centre of gravity, lighter weight and sleek looks, the Stereo Hybrid 120 HPC Race just raised the bar another notch.
